International Engagements by Bülbülzade Foundation and BEKAM
A delegation from the Bülbülzade Foundation and BEKAM carried out a series of strategic meetings in Cologne, Germany, with the aim of strengthening international partnerships in the fields of civil society and education.
The delegation, consisting of members of the Board of Directors and volunteers from the Bülbülzade Foundation and BEKAM (Science, Education, Culture Research Center), came together with representatives of Turkish civil society organizations in Europe during a program hosted by Maarif Europe. The delegation held productive meetings with officials from the Union of International Democrats (UID), the Turkish Islamic Union in Europe (ATİB), the US Academicians Platform (USap), and Maarif Europe, all of which operate in the German city of Cologne, conducting discussions aimed at bringing together institutional experiences within a common framework.
NEW PARTNERSHIPS ON A GLOBAL SCALE ARE ON THE AGENDA
Within the scope of the visit, initiatives carried out in the areas of education, youth, family, volunteering, and civil society were discussed. Strong steps were taken toward developing joint projects among the institutions, increasing international cooperation, and expanding sustainable activities for young people. During the meetings, Erasmus+ projects, youth mobility, family-oriented social projects, and best practices in education were evaluated in detail. The meeting, during which the roadmap for joint projects to be implemented in the coming period was also determined, concluded with mutual messages of goodwill and cooperation.
This significant gathering is expected to strengthen the ties among the institutions and lay the groundwork for new and strong partnerships on a global scale.
